What is SQ3R? What are the Pimsleur principles? Who is Dr. Pimsleur?

MLS sounds too good to be true. What proofs do you have that support your claims?

A. MLS was first incorporated in Utah in 1992 when an MSDOS version of the MasterMind software was developed for sale to home-schoolers and at trade shows. Windows and DOS versions of MasterMind were first marketed online in 1996, and an Associates PayPlan, growing to more than 70,000 Associates world-wide, was initiated in June of 1998.

The ill health of the CEO and founder, who is also the designer and original developer of the MasterMind software, required that the Associate program be phased out at the end of 2003.

Q. What is SQ3R? What are the Pimsleur principles? Who is Dr. Pimsleur?

A. SQ3R stands for Survey, Question, Read, Recite, and Review. The acronym summarizes a set of learning principles which embody the results of decades of research into the ways the mind works to acquire and retain new knowledge.

The SQ3R study method has been thoroughly student-tested and educator-approved in learning labs and in the classroom; and with the implementation of two additional powerful learning priciples, which Dr. Paul Pimsleur has called "Anticipation" and "Graduated Interval Recall", your MasterMind software includes some of the most advanced ideas, systems, and techniques for rapid and permanent learning that are available in the world today.

Dr. Paul Pimsleur devoted his life to teaching. He obtained his Ph.D. in French from Columbia University, taught French phonetics and phonemics, supervised the language laboratory at UCLA, served as a language educator at numerous other Universities, was a Fulbright lecturer in Heidelberg, Germany, a member of the AATF, and of the American Educational Research Association, among other distinctions.

Q. MLS sounds too good to be true. What proofs do you have that support your claims?

A. MLS applied for and received certification by the Better Internet Bureau. The Better Internet Bureau is the online equivalent of the Better Business Bureau in the offline business world. However, the greatest proof of any claim is from other people that have tried it.
